Iv'e been trying to fix a issue with BO2 Since release.

When i open the game in Steam. The game will instantly crash.

"Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Has stopped working" When i click more info i get this message.

I have tried almost every fix imaginable. including

-Updating Drivers

-Doing pretty much everything on the Microsoft website about USER32 Common errors.

-All the fixes supplied by Activision.

-Verify Catche in steam

I used there chat feature and that didn't help. As they told me they would forward my problem to a higher tech who hasn't replied in 2 days now.

 

It's also worth noting that it seems the game didn't come fully prepared. I had to manually insert a dxgi.dll file into the Steam folder then i got this message. The previous error was pretty much identicle to this one. Substituing dxgi.dll

My specs are

 

Intel Quad core I5 2400

Windows Vista 32 Bit Service Pack 3

4 Gig Ram

AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series

 

If anyone has any ideas whats going on i would really appreciate your help. Activision haven't been able to help.


Why does my SinglePlayer not work? (PC)

Whenever i put in the DVD (This is for PC), It pops up the menu with singleplayer, multiplayer,etc.. But when i press Singleplayer,it says "Please insert the correct DVD-ROM, select OK and restart application." Can you please help me.(multiplayer is fine)

My psn is Assassin_Cyanide I did not give my info out I created a clan on ghosts called RYTE Assassins lvl 15 some other guy hacked my psn account and passed my leadership to himself and kicked me out and so far the support has been useless I want my f'ing clan back and I want the guy banned his psn is biggss1 fix it please

I want to make an new account but this account has my main email address so i wanted to change it,  but it won't let me.  Every time i do put in new information it says it has saved the changes,  but i still have the same email.

So is there anyway possible for me to change my email,  or my username?  Thanks!

Multiplayer Split Screen

As many people are wondering, why can't you do many things with multiplayer(split screen).  From my point of view it is because Treyarch thought that not many people would pay much attention to split screen vs online play.  Well we do, and we want the same options as online multiplayer.

1.  Use of death cards limited to online private co-op match? Why? We need to be able to CHOOSE what we want to do with the death cards.  Like play zombies/split screen co-op with them.
2.  Limited choice of weapons on split screen multiplayer? Why? We want to play with our favorite guns, just like everyone else does online.  Only on split screen they(Treyarch)should have all weapons and perks unlocked so that the experience goes beyond boring gameplay and into pure revolutionary awesomeness.  Same for system link.
3.  Why can't more than 2 people per console play split screen co-op or split screen zombies? We should be able to max out 4 people per console and have loads of fun with it.  Also why can only 1 person per console play online, it should be at least 2 per console online.
4.  Limited split screen maps? Why? Why can't we play on all of the maps offline??? We bought the game to play some of the maps and have purchased the DLC to play with our friends at home on these maps but are limited to default maps; excluding vehicle maps, and some downloadable maps.  We should be able to choose where, how, and what to use when we play.
5.  System link split screen? Why can't we play system link split screen with our friends vs other friends on another console.  Why would you limit one per console, who really gets 4 Xbox 360's and 4 TV's just to play with 4 people?????? That is down right idiotic.

I am hoping this helps Treyarch realize how much more this game could be, how much more people would play, and how much more money would be in this if they would just fix a few problems.  Most of the problems are solved in a different game type, so it should be relatively easy to fix some of these problems.

So i install call of duty world at war, i try to play, i get an error message saying it cant detect my cd/dvd whatever, i fix that with a little googling.  Then the game boots up, i get a black screen, and when i click the mouse i can HEAR the main menu, i hear the mouse rolling over the menu options as well.  I try some more googling.  Apparently tons of people have had the black screen problem.  90 percent of the forums i went through were all old, or just in relation to the beta.  I do come accross several different types of fixes for this black screen problem, and i have tried every single one of them.  I deleted the treyarch vid, i moved the vid folder out of the cod directory, ive updated my drivers, ive messed around with resolution, ive spent the last four hours doing everything suggested several times, ive even uninstalled/reinstalled twice!!!  Well, one of the fixes suggested letting the black screen sit for 5 to 10 minutes, i did that, no dice.  I clicked around on some menu options using the sound to guide me.  I get to a spot with no music or menu clicks.  I let it sit a while.  Then i get this MASSIVE error message.  Im going to paste it here.

So if this makes sense to anyone, i could really use some help.  I mean like, if i get this running, ill credit someones paypal account, ill send you nudey pics of me, ill eat a live cat, you name it ill do it.  I havent killed any zombies in way too long.  If there is a way to tweak the video options i am not aware of it.  The only menu i can get to come up is the install menu, and that doesnt have options, just things like achievements extras uninstall crap like that.  Please be patient with me.

hi guys
can some one help me please

i installed cod 5 this last week
i also installed all the patches

The game runs fine in multiplayer only with the standard maps!!!
when i try to load a map from 1 of the 3 mappacks it loads a while and than
the game crashed with this Direct3ddevice9:: present failed: driver internal error

i only have that with maps from the map pack
i updated my directx and video driver and the error is still there

the grapighcard i use is a
ATI radeon
512 mb
x1650 pro

does any one knows a solution ???
PLEASE CAN SOME ONE HELP!!!

Well, I purchased the map pack for black ops that came with the great zombie soundtrack. I put in my code to get my music and downloaded them to my itunes, but something went wrong. It said the zombie files, that were given by the map pack, were corrupt and could not be sent to my library. I look later and there in my library, but heres the catch. They don't work and it keeps telling me to find them but i can't get anymore of the file cause the code expired. I was wondering if i code somehow get them...if it was possible in any way. That would be so much appreciated. Thank You.

Whenever I try to load black ops multiplayer it gets to the FETCHING STATS screen and just sits there forever.

When I look at the task manager it says black ops multiplayer is not responding.

What can I do???

Money has been taken - have it in my download list and now I can't even download it.

There is nothing wrong with my internet connection, I have downloaded other MPs without problem in the past and everything else is working just fine.

Why can't Treyarch/Activision and Sony just get their act together; get enough bandwidth and server capacity to respond to peak demand?

What have I paid my £10.99 for?  To be able to constantly see a 8071023 error message?

i try to play on radiation online and it takes me back to the main menu and it says it corrupt or unreadable "Fastfile for zone 'mp radiation' is corrupt or unreadable." Also nuketown seems kinda of lag like it still in developement.Plz help.

I get this error during the middle of a game of Call of Duty Ghosts, which results in a crash. I have an Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU and an Intel Core i7 processor. I'm pretty sure it's my graphics card but I'm not sure how to fix it. I've already tried multiple things but I'm open to any ideas. Thanks.

hi, im having issues with the map summit, when i try and load summit in multi player i get a page saying

fastfile for zone 'mp_mountain' is corrupt or unreadable

i have cleaned the disk and theres no scratches on it, i can load other maps just fine, this issue im having is on the ps3.

My stats were reset due to circumstances out of my control and I've seen people on here who have gotten their prestige/stats back. I was wondering if I could get help with this. I sent a PM to Cutpurse and I don't know if he actually reads these or not, but I'm pretty sure he reads the support forums so I wanted to post on here. I was forth prestige and I dont see myself playing this game close to as much as I did, if all these weapon prestiges/camos/levels are all lost. Please help me Treyarch/Activision!

Black ops 2 ps3 Error code-80010514

Ok baisically I bought a copy of black ops 2 and far cry 3 together. Got home played 2 games of zombies and changed games.

Now every time I try to play black ops 2 I get this error code- 80010514. No weird noises just that code. Every other game,movie,music disk works fine.

I even got a replacement disk but that has still not fixed it. So my question is what do I do?

Ps- disk is brand new so has no scratches
